Contemporary methods of assessment of cointegrating relations: an application to models of economic growth
Abstract
The paper discusses a number of contemporary methods for assessment of cointegrating relations. Recent methods which allow for structural breaks in the data series are also considered. The method of Carrion-i-Silvestre and Sanso is applied in order to evaluate the impact of human capital on growth in the Bulgarian economy.
