APPROACH TO MODERNIZING REGIONS OF BULGARIA IN THE CONTEXT OF INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT EUROPEAN UNION
Abstract
This article attempts to examine those processes leading to regional
differences in Bulgaria. Emphasized the lack of consistent and transparent processes for
managing water which leads to the need for a clear regional policy and the introduction of
integrated management of the regions so economically revitalize the country. The article
gives various measures and approaches for bringing regional policy as a national priority.
Have been identified measures for integrated management of the territory subject to the
policies of the European Union. Indicated activities and projects that can be implemented
in order to promote socio-economic development of the regions in Bulgaria.
