Quantitative evaluation of environment factors for industrial companies (as exemplified by companies in the non-ferrous metals sector)
Abstract
This paper presents and compares data obtained by employing a
quantitative model for evaluating environmental factors. The model is can be
applied to study the conditions in which companies operate by evaluating and
analyzing the business environment. The subject of the study are companies
from the “Non-ferrous metals” sector in Bulgaria. The analysis of the external
environment presents the way in which the companies and their management
perceive the changes which took place in the period of financial and economic
crisis and as well as their flexibility to take advantage of the changed conditions.
