Abstract

Effective management begins with a clear understanding of an organization’s current condition and future potential. This study focuses on contemporary diagnostic techniques that support managerial decision-making by analyzing key success factors and internal organizational processes.

The paper presents various analytical approaches, including the identification of critical success factors, the Kanji model for business excellence, and the Competitive Strength Report (CSR) method. These tools enable managers to evaluate performance, identify weaknesses, and determine strategic priorities based on both qualitative and quantitative indicators.

Particular attention is given to the integration of diagnostic methods into strategic management, emphasizing their role in enhancing competitiveness and long-term organizational development. The findings suggest that systematic and well-structured diagnostics are essential for achieving sustainable performance and maintaining competitive advantage.
